Description

A benefit race to help local firefighters in their time of need. New to this year, not only will we be holding the 5K run/walk, we will be having a Firemans Adventure race! The Firemans Adventure race, will be held alongside the 5K runners, but participants will have six to eight obstacles to overcome. All of the obstacles are based around the demanding functions in the fire service. Yes...The Firemans Adventure Race will be timed! The Firemans adventure race is open to anyone in the community, not just firefighters.

The Run/Walk and The Firemans Adventure Race will be held on a measured, closed course on West Branch Rd in State College. The start/finish line begins at the intersection of Rt. 45 and West Branch Rd. The course will go 1.55 miles then will U-Turn and return to the start/finish line.

Parking at the Wasson farm (located on Rt. 45) is free for all attendants. This Run/Walk and Firemans Adventure Race is open to all members of our community and registration begins January 1st, 2012 and can be completed at the Centre County Firefighters Combat Challenge Website: www.CCFCC1.com.
